INTRODUCTION
What is your testimony? In this podcast Milo and Olivia lay out a foundation for having a clear testimony, some things to avoid, and how to shape your testimony in a way that highlights how God is moving in your life.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR SHARING YOUR TESTIMONY

  • Your testimony is a means of UNUSUAL IMPACT
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. - Acts 1:8

  • Your Testimony is a means of GREAT GRACE
And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. - Acts 4:33

  • Your Testimony is a means of UNDENIABLE TRIUMPH
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. - Revelation 12:11

  • Your Testimony is a means of NOTICEABLE HOPE
…but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect… - 1 Peter 3:15

Two things to avoid when sharing your testimony

  1. Avoid undermining or exaggerating your sin

  2. Avoid making yourself the hero of your testimony

WHEN SHARING YOUR TESTIMONY, Focus on HOW GOD USED people TO…

  • INSPIRE you

  • HOST you

  • SUPPORT you

  • TRUST in you
